Humble Beginnings
Ebony Ligon is the dedicated owner of Compassionate Senior Care and the founder of Sunflowers Bundles of Joy. With a deep-seated passion for helping others, Ebony has built a career that reflects her commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in her community. Although she initially pursued a path in engineering, studying at IUPUI, her career took a different direction when she began working for an insurance company.
It was during this time that Ebony realized her true calling was to help people, inspiring her to embrace entrepreneurship. Ebony’s journey led her to establish Compassionate Senior Care, where she provides compassionate and personalized care for the elderly and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and independence in the familiarity of their own homes. Her approach goes beyond basic care, as she strives to create an environment where clients feel valued, respected, and genuinely supported.
In addition to her work in homecare, Ebony founded Sunflowers Bundles of Joy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of single parents and the elderly in the community. Through initiatives like the annual ‘Leaving a Legacy’ gala, she honors those who have made significant contributions to the community while raising funds to support essential services and activities that enhance the quality of life for the elderly and provide assistance to single parents in need. Ebony is also deeply committed to empowering the youth in her community. Through Sunflowers Bundles of Joy, she offers several classes for young people, focusing on topics such as understanding one’s purpose (“Knowing Your Why”), becoming an entrepreneur, and dealing with trauma. Her passion for youth development drives her to create opportunities that inspire and equip young people with the tools they need to succeed.

​Ebony's entrepreneurial spirit extends further as the owner of Bleu Rose Residential, where she invests in commercial and residential properties. She also owns Bleu Rose Learning Center, which will soon offer CNA, HHA, and QMA classes, expanding her impact by providing educational and career opportunities to the community. By combining her passion for homecare, community service, youth development, and entrepreneurship, Ebony has built a network of support that addresses both the immediate and long-term needs of those she serves. Her mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of age or ability, receives the care, respect, and opportunities they deserve.
